Lamella Settlement

GEA 2H Water Technologies (GEA 2H) is the UK's leading supplier of plastic media based solid/liquid separation in lamella settlement tanks.

Significant solid/liquid separation operational efficiencies, for both existing and new lamella settlement tanks, can be achieved by the use of GEA 2H's lamella separators, TUBEdek™. This is due to its unique design of interlocking profiles which encourages laminar flow.

TUBEdek™ is manufactured in plastic thus avoiding the problems of corrosion encountered by metallic structures. Polypropylene (PP) profiles are used for potable drinking water applications in treatment of water intake from the river or reservoir and in filter backwash systems.

Construction of the modules is from basic tongue and groove profiles which, for large schemes, allows on site assembly. This offers operational efficiency and reduced transport costs.
