In order to ensure a high level of productivity in animal and poultry growing, it is becoming more and more important to react to the specific requirements of the animal. This includes controlling the air temperature within the animal shed. The need to cool the air in the animal shed is particularly important in regions where there are high outside temperatures. In this case, a mechanically generated air flow is moistened and cooled by means of evaporative coolers.

In the case of animal breeding where artificial rhythms of lighting are used, it is necessary to ensure that no natural light gets into the animal shed. GEA 2H has developed, thanks to its knowledge on agricultural engineering, the special profile TAP 160 and brackets for this purpose. These are mounted in front of the air inlet flaps or fans.
